Fort Collins Junior Black Belt Taekwondo
(Taught by Mr. Beck)
At Becks, a Junior student can earn a black belt known as a Poom rank, whereas adults earn a Dan rank. Becks’ Junior Black Belt class opens Taekwondo up broadly to students who some have been training for 10 years or more. We know continued practice of Taekwondo through middle and high school is a challenge for many students as interests and other things change, but we also see the continued success and positive influence that Taekwondo keeps on students through the final childhood years. Junior black belts work towards national title competitions and the chance to earn gold medals in Taekwondo and also just come to class for fun practicing advanced self - defense and sparring. Becks’ Junior black belt class represents the future of Taekwondo, and especially represents the future of our local school & communities.
